Commissions

You can request anything that you see on the site. I can tweak the designs based on your preferences (wood type, pyrography, etc.)

I am open to trying new things too! If you have something in mind and are wondering if I can use my craftsmanship to make it tangible, please don’t hesitate to reach out. If the item is something beyond my ability or whatnot, I’ll let you know. It never hurts to ask.

Keep in mind that I have limited space in my tiny workshop. So, for the moment, I can’t craft large objects such as gaming tables and cabinets.

The cost of your project will depend on the woods chosen, the amount of design work I need to do and the actual time it will take to craft “your thing.” Once we have discussed your special project, I can give you an estimate on the cost. Keep in mind that I strive to make each item heirloom quality, and the pricing will reflect that. I cannot compete with mass producers on price and, most times, they can’t compete with me on craftsmanship.

I will request the full price of the commission be paid upfront. I’ll provide you with an invoice/receipt that will layout our contractual commitment.

Most projects can be completed roughly 6-8 weeks after the materials for it arrive at the workshop. This includes time for the wood to acclimate to our climate, drying times for glues/finishes, and, of course, the crafting time itself.

If anything changes the timeframe we’ve agreed upon, I will touch base with you and we can discuss.
